a 60s style hippy van for two brothers' 13th birthday! The van measures...ready? 36 inches in length, 18 inches tall and 13 inches wide!!!!! The board that it is on is 29"X49"! If you can tell, from the windows up is cake all the way across, so thats about 234 servings of cake. The rest is a huge piece of styrofoam I had custom made. Its all covered in fondant and then airbrushed and hand painted.
The cake was sooo big that I was not able to get a decent picture of it due to the walls and the floor showing so an extrememly talented lady named Susan Erickson (http://www.sedesignsonline.com/) worked her magic on it and got rid of the ugly backgrounds! Only the background was altered not the cake itself.
